Android TouchDown Exchange mail client in MobiDM

VeliQ incorporates NitroDesk TouchDown suite in mobility ecosystem

Rotterdam (Barendrecht), 17 November 2011 – Enterprise managed mobility specialist VeliQ signed an agreement with NitroDesk, makers of TouchDown, the most widely used Exchange mail client for Android devices worldwide.  As part of the agreement TouchDown and its capabilities have been fully integrated in the MobiDM ecosystem. As a result, all Android devices within the enterprise can deploy simultaneously and easily the TouchDown exchange client to access the company’s Exchange server in a secure way and also manage this through the central and self-service MobiDM web portal.

The integration of TouchDown was completed this month with the MobiDM 4.1 release and contains the full feature-set such as PIM encryption and partial wipe. It extends the reach of the MobiDM mobile eco system into email as well, and is designed especially for organizations with a growing number of Android devices across different hardware manufacturers. 

The agreement was signed just before the international ‘Move The Big M’ event in Amsterdam, where over 200 attendees from International partners will join this new mobility movement.
